About Yara Fernandes

Yara contributes to building up ecosystems worldwide across continents through multicultural, interdisciplinary teams through several worldwide initiatives.

As an International Director for Space, Quantum, & Economic Innovation she helps on an international space mission with over 100 countries that promotes world peace called Mission ShakthiSAT. This space mission gives STEM education for free to students and is proof that global collaboration among diverse cultures is possible.

Yara is also a member of the Africa Quantum Consortium community, a pan-African Quantum initiative to unite the continent’s Quantum power.

She is a leader that builds collaboration opportunities and organizes interdisciplinary, multicultural teams to help accomplish a mission and raise awareness for causes to make things happen. She also advocates for sole survivors of war and mentors future leaders impacted by war in order to create leaders that love peace
